Karneval Westum (Feb, 2021)

It is only every five years that there is a Carnival parade in Westum, a small village in Rhineland-Palatinate, near Sinzig. So, when the parade takes place, that’s something very special. Especially due to the fact, that all participants are direct residents or come from the neighboring villages. This personal relationship of the people to this festival creates an intense and familiar atmosphere which makes this parade stand out of other, may be larger or more prominent Carnival parades.
