October 2024
Snaps from October 2024, including a trip to Frankfurtꜛ where I visited the Martin Parr exhibitionꜛ at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt. I was in Frankfurt for a conferenceꜛ and took a late train back to Cologne, which gave me the chance to see the exhibition. It was a retrospective of his early black and white photos. The exhibition was very well curated and I also enjoyed the photographs on display from local photographers.
I also visited the Paulskirche, the Ikonenmuseum, the Liebighaus, the Archaeological Museum, and the Jewish Museum. Seems like a busy schedule, but I had fun in all these places and experienced Frankfurt as a very international and diverse city.
After Frankfurt, I strayed around Cologne on several occasions, visiting some of the city’s oldest churches.
