The study of history as a science is not merely about recounting past events, but about reconstructing human experiences through critical analysis, empirical evidence, and interpretative frameworks. This tag explores how historical knowledge is produced — from archaeological excavations and textual criticism to comparative analysis and historiographical reflection. It examines how we identify bias, deal with gaps in the record, challenge inherited narratives, and evaluate sources with scholarly rigor. My aim is to highlight history as a discipline grounded in method and inquiry. Understanding the past scientifically allows us not only to gain insight into what happened, but to ask how we know it — and what implications our methods and interpretations carry for the present.
